"Fiona (Fío) Avocado (they/them) is a queer and feminist artist, educator, and organizer born and raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The works Fío creates incorporate printmaking, digital and analog illustration, comics, zine making, and assembling textile pieces from upcycled materials. Fío is passionate about connecting with people, sharing personal and collective narratives through art, and imagining and creating a better, more just world."
