As Champions of Local, it is in our DNA to support our community, our city. Our team brings together a unique collection of passions that are woven together to become our fingerprint. Traces of that imprint can be found at cat rescues, salvaging materials, or planting seeds. We will always try our best to make our corner of the world a better place and above all else, to always, always, be a good neighbor.

Below are our passions that we are currently supporting and giving to:

PGH Artists Emergency Fund

Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, artists, makers and performers have felt an immediate impact on their livelihoods. This fundraiser is hosted by a group of artists and community organizers based in Pittsburgh responding to the urgent need of our friends and community. We created our Sending Love Postcard Campaign where proceeds will benefit this cause.

Tree Pittsburgh

As part of our sustainability efforts, we teamed up with Tree Pittsburgh. This local environmental non-profit is dedicated to restoring and protecting Pittsburgh's urban forest. We started a program at both shops where we donate 50 cents each time a customer spends over $10 and declines a bag.

Nose 2 Tail

If you are a cat lover like Kelly and Monica, head over to Nose 2 Tail, a cat rescue organization. It is a 100% volunteer and donation run with a tiny team who works tirelessly to give the best care to rescued cats, from kittens to abandoned elderly felines. Currently, we have a donation bank by the registers at both of our Mt. Washington and Downtown locations.

SisTers PGH

SisTers PGH is a transLED, transgender community center, that offers outreach, accurate transgender education, trans inclusion training, advocacy, and emergency housing and shelter for transgender people of Pittsburgh. The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the particular vulnerability of our LGBTQIA+ people, especially those of color. We are currently donating a portion of our sales to support SisTers PGH's Emergency Relief Fund.
