Take A Hike!

Take A Hike!

One of the best things to do around our city is to go out and see all of the beautiful scenery and what better way than to take advantage of our Pittsburgh Parks.  Below are some of our favorite trails!

Frick Park Tour Loop Trail

Frick Park has a 4.9 mile loop trail that features a beautiful forest setting and really captures the fall season.  The trail is dog friendly and accessible year round!

Emerald View Trail

The Emerald View Trail, near and dear to our hearts, is a 2.3 mile loop trail that features a beautiful city view.  It is primarily used for hiking, nature walks, and bird watching.  The trail is dog friendly, however, furry friends must be kept on a leash.

Hollow Oak Loop

The Hollow Oak Loop is 3.2 miles located in Moon township.  It features a river with small waterfalls and beautiful forest scenery.  It is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching.  The trail is dog friendly and best used from April to October. Get there soon!

Southside Trail

For those looking for a longer hike the Southside Trail is 15.4 miles and features great views of the river and city.  It also offers a number of different activity options.  Make sure to take a selfie at the Color Park. The trail is accessible year round and dog friendly.

We hope you take advantage of these wonderful trails our city has to offer and make sure to tag us in any of your fall adventures! @lovepittsburghshop
