Support Small Business

Support Small Business

As we approach the holiday season, we wanted to dedicate some time to thank you all for your support during this unexpected year. This time has served as an opportunity to get creative and take risks amidst the challenges, and to celebrate our #PittsburghRainbows with every stride forward. Shopping small creates big impact and we wanted to share reasons why shopping small matters.

By shopping small and local with us, you are:

  1. Investing into the local economy.

Small businesses create local jobs and local tax revenue, which directly puts money back into our community. We further improve our Pittsburgh economy by attracting more visitors and making it the best city to live in America (Go Stillers!).

  2. Keeping a minimal carbon footprint.

Local and sustainability walk hand-in-hand with each other. By strictly keeping our products and makers within our local limits, we generate minimal impact on the environment and have achieved a Gold certification for our sustainable business practices. Learn more here.

  3. Giving back to neighboring non-profits.

We are consistently contributing to local causes that are on our hearts. As a team, we always try our best to be a good neighbor and give back to the city we love. Learn more here.

  4. Supporting a woman-owned business.

Historically, women have been underrepresented in the business ownership world. Supporting woman-owned businesses reward and promotes hardworking women who bring value and creativity to our community.

  5. Supporting over 100 Pittsburgh-based artists and makers.

Our shop carries over 100 makers, dreamers, artists, and risk takers. We choose to source only from our neighbors, our community, our city. Each one of your purchases directly impacts our team and the makers we carry.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all of yinz who have come alongside us to make a difference for Pittsburgh artists, makers, and our community.

Thank you for being Champions of Local.

love,
Pittsburgh
