Pittsburgh Women-owned Food and Drink Businesses
Black Forge Coffee
When we are brewing up new ideas, our favorite meeting spot is Black Forge Coffee House run by Ashley. Their menu is macabre meets coffee, with metal inspired drinks and tea blends (High Priestess is my go-to). There's something about the Pantera background tracks that help me tune into the task at hand and slay the day.
Black Forge roasts their beans onsite in their McKee's Rocks location. We're extra proud to carry this blend they roast exclusively for love, Pittsburgh in our stores.
Parma Sausage
We savored the news when we first learned that Parma Sausage is a women-owned business! With a history that's four generations deep, our favorite neighbor has been serving up sausages manufactured right here Strip District since 1954.
A year and a half ago we took over the former Parma storefront, and they moved next door to their original location. We still giggle when folks make it all the way up to our counter and try to order sausage from us! We love carrying their Sopressata, but always send folks next door for the full selection of their delicacies.
La Gourmandine
Oh this delicious place! From savory to sweet, La Gourmandine always satisfies. The French baguettes are outstanding, with a soft inside surrounded by a flaky, crunchy crust. Treat yourself to an eclair au choclat paired with a handful of chouquettes, and don't forget a macarons aux fruits for maximum enjoyment.
Pittsburgh Women-owned Retail

Boutique La Passarelle
For head-to-toe fashion, we love sending shoppers to our downtown neighbor Adele, owner of Boutique la Passarelle. Browse fashion brands with European flair, and find cocktail dresses to jewelry and everything in between.
Fresh Nostalgia
Another downtown friend right in the Cultural District is Beth, fashionista and owner of Fresh Nostalgia. Her assortment is both trending and timeless. Plus she offers home goods to make your space look as cute as your outfit!

Long before Kelly and I started love, Pittsburgh we were finding our center at South Hills Power Yoga in Dormont. We love the intention and energy that a heated yoga session provides as a respite for both mind and body. Check out their schedule next time you need a full body reset.
