Let’s get acquainted with the newest artists and makers that are now part of the love, Pittsburgh community.
Amelia Kieras
Amelia Kieras is a Pittsburgh based illustrator and paper artist. She makes pop-up cards, 3D layered cut paper wall art, hand bound artist books, and self published picture books, all featuring original digital illustrations. To create her imagery, Amelia starts with a sketch, scans it, and then builds the final illustration on top using original photography for textures and digital painting techniques to color and blend. Her imagery is inspired by childhood memories and imaginings, folk tales, fairy tales, and dreams.
