Here is another maker duo we are happy to feature, Plant Lady Wannabe. They are a mother/daughter team, who utilize their family hobby of crocheting to create adorable spiky yarn cacti.

Tell us about your brand and why it’s the best
We are here for all those who love plants but can’t keep them alive, no matter how hard they try. We know you’re out there and that’s why with our crocheted cacti and succulents you can be on trend with all your #plantgoals.
What is your background and the story behind why you started Plant Lady Wannabe?
As a mother/daughter duo, learning to crochet is a family hobby, passed down through the generations. After crocheting hats all January long, we realized we wanted to keep working on small projects together that make us happy. Every time we make a new plant it makes us smile! They are fun to make and help to brighten up a room!
What one product do we need to know about and why?
The crocheted cactus with spiky yarn is one of our favorites. The texture will really fool you! We crochet all our plants and put them in terra-cotta pots. No maintenance and you can add it to any space for a touch of green!
In three words, Why do you love Pittsburgh?
Home, tradition, growing
