At Lovett Sundries, we are excited about making your everyday routine special again with our finely crafted apothecary products.

What is the story behind why you started Lovett?

After asking what was in the soap we bought at the store, and not liking the answer, we started making our own extra gentle bars using old fashioned techniques and ingredients we could pronounce. Our friends and family loved our soaps, and begged us to make more. That’s what got us into the soap making business.

Now we feature a line of handcrafted soaps, grooming, and cleaning products that will keep you and your things as clean as can be without any added chemicals, colors, or fragrances.

What one product do we need to know about and why?

Our clarifying charcoal and clay bar is the perfect way to gently treat oily or combination skin without harsh chemicals. Activated charcoal and bentonite clay have the amazing ability to draw out impurities from deep within the pores. This powerful duo is blended into a mild and creamy bar that tones and exfoliates without over-drying or irritating your sensitive skin. Don’t worry, the charcoal won’t stain your pretty white tub.

In three words, why do you love Pittsburgh?

City of Dreams  … or … (Let’s go Pens!)
