Check out our next makers we love, Commonwealth Press. We are huge fans of Dan and Shannon, and the way they mix hard work, community support, and Pittsburgh pride. They said it best, “…all of our work is Pittsburgh proud – and covers the solid, hardworking, salt of the earth spirit that our fair city is rooted in.”

Tell us about your brand and why it’s the best
We started in a basement right here inPittsburghh and have worked our asses off to build something that we can be proud of, which we have. All of our work is Pittsburgh proud – and covers the solid, hardworking, salt of the earth spirit that our fair city is rooted in.
What is your background and the story behind why you started Commonwealth Press?
We are just trying to exist on our own steam. We started this company because we are all artists or in bands and looking for ways to live our lives in a way that makes sense to us. Something that will give us back what we put in. We print because we are good at it. We design because we love to do it. We make shirts because we think we are hilarious. We focus onPittsburghh because it is as much a part of us as we are of it.
What one product do we need to know about and why?
Our pierogi pillow is a one of a kind creation designed right here inPittsburghh and sewn by my mom.
In three words, Why do you love Pittsburgh?
Family and friends.
