Tell us about your brand and why it’s the best
Claymade By Sarah Michelle makes handmade polymer clay earrings. JOY infused and made with love, the earrings are lightweight, unique, colorful and fun!
What is your background and the story behind why you started Claymade?
I have always been a creative soul, I took cake decorating classes as a child, joined scrapbooking clubs and even tried calligraphy. As I entered the working world I wanted a creative outlet that I could do after work and truly have fun! I tried painting but to be honest, I was horrible! I took ceramic classes in high school and I absolutely loved working with that medium. So one day I decided to try and make jewelry with polymer clay! It started out as a hobby because I truly just enjoy making the earrings! I'll put on my favorite music/podcast, have a cup of coffee and get lost in making earrings! My little hobby then turned into a little business soon after as I was amazed that people actually started buying my handmade earrings! I am so excited to be doing something creative that warms my soul and hopefully brings so much JOY to others as they wear them!
