Tell us the story about your brand. Why is it the best?

I create sculptural and seasonal candles out of beeswax. Perfect for a dinner party, coffee table, or housewarming gift. Along with these, I also hand pour scented soy candles that pair nicely with the molded beeswax candles to create the perfect gift! I donate a portion of my profits to animal shelters both locally and nationally and I use eco-friendly packaging!

What is your background? How did it lead you to starting your brand?

I’ve worked at a few small retail businesses in Pittsburgh (love, Pittsburgh being one of them :) ) These positions taught me all different aspects of running a small business and gave me a desire to craft, create and work with my hands. Along with this, I also have my MBA which helps me navigate the logistics.

What one product do we need to know about and why?

Beeswax pumpkin candles!

In three words, why do you love Pittsburgh?

Amazing maker community

How can people find out more about you?

I have an Etsy shop: Wicksburgh.com and instagram @wicksburgh_pgh
