Tell us your story.

I started Collarbone Jewelry almost by accident in 2010 in Salt Lake City, UT while I was going to school for fashion design. I got a part time job at a bead store and started making jewelry. People would buy it off my neck and soon I got my first WHSL order from a local boutique. Eventually I traveled around the country in my old volvo wagon getting my jewelry into over 180 boutiques in 23 states. In 2015, I moved to Pittsburgh, PA to work for a jeweler and learn traditional metal smithing techniques. I started the CAT LUCK brand in Pittsburgh and then in 2018 went to NYC to study at a jewelry school in Manhattan. My studio is currently in the South Side of Pittsburgh, behind the clock tower. I love adventure and travel. I developed my business around traveling around the country to do arts festivals and pop up events. As a Non-Binary person, my jewelry is for all gender expressions and walks of life. i want to create something for everyones unique and valid journey.

What one product do we need to know about and why?

I really like the organic Hammered Heart necklace. Each one is unique and one of a kind. I hand form the heart from brass wire, solder it and hammered it in my South Side studio, so each one has its own personality. And also because it's a heart, there is so much love in every piece.

In three words, why do you love Pittsburgh?
