Here we are in Pittsburgh July, full of long, warm days and lightening bug lit evenings. Summer always makes us think of escaping to sandy beaches. We are bringing the beach here to the Burgh for our next One-Of-A-Kind Collection: Soft Pastels And Summer Shells.
We partnered with the lovely Sarah March of Louie Prior to create an upcycled jewelry collection using sea shells. Watch out for our next Stories episode, that includes a chat with Sarah. For a chance to feel beachy, try wearing one of her unique beachcomber necklaces:
Or a pair of her endless summer sunray shell earrings:
Reading and journaling are classic oceanfront pastimes. Using upcycled fabric, toomanysparkles created these shelly notebooks in various sizes:
You can also find yourself a one-of-a-kind book mark for your summer reading:
Need to organize your pens, pencils, hair ties, and shell collection? How about this upcycled fabric zipper pouch made in partnership with East End Cooperative Ministries (reminds us of footprints on a sandy beach)
We love adding found vintage treasures to our assortment. We learned that one of our summer interns, Abby from WVU, also enjoys treasure hunting. She recently added her collection, Abby Rose Vintage, to our offering. How cute is this Shell Bathroom Set?
No matter how you spend your summer, we hope you find ways to make special moments and enjoy these long days and nights. Cheers!
