I’m from New Stanton, Pennsylvania.
WHERE DO YOU GO TO SCHOOL AND WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING?
I am a rising junior at the University of Pittsburgh. I'm pursuing a double major in supply chain management and business information systems, a minor in applied statistics, and a certificate in business analytics.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING AT LOVE, PITTSBURGH?
Interning at love, Pittsburgh this summer has been a great experience so far. I have learned so much about opening and running a small business. My favorite part about my internship is that I feel like my work will have a real positive impact on the business. I have been so lucky to have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Monica and Kelly because they have shared so much knowledge with me.
WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WHEN YOU'RE OUT OF SCHOOL?
When I’m out of college, I hope to work for an apparel company in inventory planning or another supply chain related area. I hope to stay in the Pittsburgh area when I first finish college, as well. I have also always considered opening my own small business later on in my life, and working for love, Pittsburgh has only confirmed this idea.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT SUMMER?
Summer is by far my favorite season because I love warm weather, sitting by the pool, cook-outs, and spending time with family and friends. My friends and I are always swimming during the day and having bonfires at night. I also go to the beach with my family every summer, so that's always something I look forward to.
