Finding ways to support our local economy is one of our main values here at love, Pittsburgh, that's why giving back is a year-round activity for us. In addition to supporting local artists and makers, we support and donate to local non-profits with positive missions we believe in. Hello Neighbor
Our newest local partner is Hello Neighbor, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting recently resettled refugee and immigrant families.
Since their founding in 2017, Hello Neighbor has provided support to over 800 refugees and immigrants from more than 17 countries of origin, helping them feel more comfortable and confident in their new lives.
In 2021 we partnered with them by creating the Hello Neighbor gift box, where $5 of each gift box sold was donated to their cause. Additionally, on Giving Tuesday we donated a portion of our sales to Hello Neighbor.

Nose 2 Tail Cat Rescue
As both Kelly and I are cat ladies, we are happy to support Nose-2-Tail Cat Rescue, a 100% donation and volunteer run no-kill cat rescue located in McDonald, PA.
Nose 2 Tail are constantly caring for 20-40 homeless cats and kittens at a time. And they work to decrease the overpopulation and euthanasia rates of cats and kittens through education and adoption.

Tree Pittsburgh
One of the local partners we've been supporting the longest is Tree Pittsburgh, an environmental non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing community vitality by restoring and protecting the urban forest through tree planting and care, education, advocacy, and land conservation.
We've been contributing to Tree Pittsburgh for over three years and counting with our Decline-a-bag program. Originated as part of our efforts to achieve Gold Certification for our business through Sustainable PGH, we donate $0.50 each time someone declines a bag with their purchase of $10 or more. You've declined enough bags to plant 13 trees to date!
We are also proud to carry products from Tree Pittsburgh in our stores, like these Illustrative Tree Card Sets. Next time you're in the shop we hope you'll decline a bag for Tree Pittsburgh!
