Never too many houseplants!

It is that time of year again, when nighttime temps start to dip below 50 degrees. This is the time of year that you need to bring in your sensitive houseplants or any tropical plants that you've placed outside for the summer. 

Be sure to spray off your plants before you bring them in. This ensures that you get rid of any pests that may be hiding on them, such as spider mites and fruit flies. I also like to run water through the soil for a few minutes to flush out the buildup of salts that may have accumulated throughout the year. Your plants will thank you for the extra effort.
