The Downtown Pittsburgh Partnership is hosting a Holiday Window Contest.
We are thrilled to be partnered with artist Katy Dement. Katy installed hundreds of her moms crystal and glass ornament collection, turning our window into a sparkling wonderland.
Here is Katy's story of the collection:
Not only is our window now full of holiday magic, it is also full of potential charity.
You get to vote for your favorite window, and the winner will donate $2000 to their selected charity or non profit. We have chosen SisTers PGH, a transgender centered drop-in space, resource provider, and shelter transitioning program based here in Pittsburgh, PA. Katy has offered to even further donate to SisterPGH. During the final week of installation, you will be able to purchase each figure for a $5 donation, which will go directly towards SistersPGH.
City-goers who are interested in viewing the displays will be able to see each of them and vote for their favorite display by picking up a ballot from each business, or in Market Square.
