Tis the season. This time of year, I feel especially thankful for my family. I give credit to my dad for often feeling extra sappy about life.
My Family
I have the most incredible husband, Don, and daughter, Diaz. True ride or dies. Geez Louise have we been through some difficult things, but through it all we keep each other loved, supported, and grounded.
I am also beyond lucky to grow up in a loving family, full of laughter, singing, bike rides, and more made-up words than you can imagine.
Bonus: I married into another wonderful family.
We have been on THE MOST FUN various blended summer vacations on the Atlantic for the last 15 years. Building puzzles, dance parties in the kitchen, epic volleyball tournaments, heartfelt oceanfront walks, all combine for lovely beach memories.
So many beautiful humans to enjoy.
Corporate Work Families
But I am lucky enough to have another family to celebrate: my work families. Throughout my corporate career, I fell in love with each work family created by being on a team at work. From American Eagle, J Crew, Old Navy, and Wal-Mart, I am still in touch with the incredible team members that started as co-workers and became life-long friends. We even feature some of their fantastic creations at love, Michelle Minott Jewelry, and Krysti Keener (Soul Topophilia.)
love, Pittsburgh Family
My current work family at love, Pittsburgh I absolutely cherish. We must first begin with a huge shout out to my work-wife and third sister, Monica. Following our gut and diving into business together has created some true magic. We have belly-laughed and deeply cried together, while building a work family that brings so much joy.
Our extended management team of Jen, Amber, and Kristen are the backbone of our family. We have shared in all of the emotions. Celebrating the joyful moments of life, as well as grieving together. Our weekly management meetings feel like a dream come true, all five of us working together to showcase the creative talent of Pittsburgh.
Each team member, past and present, brings a unique gift to love, Pittsburgh. From launching products for us to sell, to bringing joy to customers, to learning about each other during our all-team meetings (who has a large head vs. who has a small head-really!) They are all shining stars, contributing their individual ways to share love.
So grateful for my extended family that reaches far and wide over the decades.

Shopped for gifts to bring home for our daughters. So glad to have found you. The store is amazing. Will visit on our annual trip to Pittsburgh.
Your reflections moved me.
I shop in your Strip District store and have always been greeted warmly.
Thanks for creating love Pittsburgh.
