Favorite Fall Drinks from Our Dream Team

Fall is the perfect season to indulge in flavorful drinks that will satisfy your taste buds. Grab a mug or glass and make one of these favorites from our dream team!

Hot Spiced Cider

 

 

Amber enjoys hot spiced cider when the night air gets chilly and uses local cider from Simmons or Trax Farms

Add bourbon and a lemon wedge to make it Kelly's fall beverage of choice.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of apple cider
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  • In 3-quart saucepan, heat ingredients to boiling over medium-high heat. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
  • Before serving, strain cider mixture to remove cloves and cinnamon, if desired. Serve hot.

Iced Apple Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte

 

 

Dream Teamer, Ashley's favorite fall bevvie sounds delish! Try this recipe from Kalejunkie.

For the Apple Crisp Syrup:

  • 1 Apple sliced
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar or substitute coconut sugar
  • 1/3 Cup Apple Juice
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Apple Pie Spice or make your own by mixing together 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon allspice)
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

For the Cold Brew Latte:

  • 2-3 Tablespoons Apple Crisp Syrup
  • 1 Cup Cold Brew Coffee
  • 1/2 Cup Non-Dairy Milk of choice
  • Ice Cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Start by chopping your apples into thin slices.
  • Next, add them to a small saucepan on the stove over low heat, and add in the rest of the apple syrup ingredients: the apple juice, brown sugar, water, vanilla extract, apple pie spice, and cinnamon stick.
  • Stir your apple mixture and bring to a gentle boil.
  • Cover it and let it simmer for approximately 15 minutes, until the syrup starts to thicken.
  • Then, remove it from the heat.
  • Remove the apple slices and cinnamon stick and set them to the side, being sure to save the apple slices for garnishing!
  • Finally, pour your syrup into a mason jar, let cool, then store it in the fridge until you’re ready to make your cold brew lattes, for up to one week.
  • Once you’re ready to assemble the latte, add 2-3 tablespoons of your apple crisp syrup to a glass, along with your ice cubes, cold brew coffee, and milk of choice.
  • Stir, then top with the stewed apple slices and a dash of cinnamon.

Iced Pumpkin Latte with Oatmilk

 

 

We have another iced beverage fan amongst our crew. Lexi loves an iced pumpkin latte with oatmilk. Can't go without a pumpkin spice for autumn vibes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup of oatmilk 
  • 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
  • Whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, heat the oatmilk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
  • Chill the pumpkin mixture in the fridge.
  • Add ice and fill a glass halfway with the chilled pumpkin oatmilk.
  • Add the coffee into the glass.
  • Optional: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
