Events to Welcome Spring

With spring fast approaching, the city will start to dust off the gloom of winter and come alive again. Check out these springtime events to help brighten your mood and welcome the season!

Phipps Spring Flower Show

This year's show theme, Five Senses of Splendor, aims to bring a bright burst of color after gray Pittsburgh Winter and awaken your senses.  Beginning March 18 and lasting for 4 weeks, this show will display props including a glowing sun, cascades of rainwater and blooms ranging from red to violet with fuchsia, peach, indigo and more. Kennywood Opening Day

The 'Burgh's favorite park will be back open and running beginning April 22 for its 125th celebration! You can even check out their brand new ride, Spinvasion, with the opening of the new season. Yinz better get ready!

Pittsburgh Arts & Crafts Spring Fever Festival

Shop over 175 artists booths at the 23rd annual Spring Fever Festival!  On March 17-19, starting at 10 am, head to the Monroeville Convention Center to shop vendors selling anything between crafts, wine & spirits, baked goods, clothing and more!  Ticket pricing and more info is available here.  

Pittsburgh Playhouse Spring Dance Concerts

Each Spring, Point Park University hosts the Conservatory Dance Company to put on a choreography showcase performed by PPU dancers. The shows begin April 19th and go through the 23rd, with tickets available for purchase on the website!
