End of Summer: Pittsburgh Edition

End of Summer: Pittsburgh Edition

As we head into September, the realization that summer is coming to an end sinks in. Before summer sips away like a bottle of wine, (can't hold back our Taylor Swift references) here are a few things we don't want to miss.

Allegheny County Summer Concerts

Have you enjoyed concerts at South Park or Hartwood Acres? This weekend will mark the end of the summer concert series. Catch the last concert at South Park tonight, September 1st, starting around 7:30pm. Looking for more outdoor fun? Sunday, September 3rd is the 23rd Annual Allegheny County Music Festival. The festival fun begins at 5:30pm, with Men Without Hats headlining. So excited to Safety dance! Make sure to arrive hungry for the stellar food truck lineup.

Pittsburgh Pirates Firework Nights

With one of the best views in the city, we always love a trip to PNC Park. What makes a Pirate's game even better? Fireworks! If you agree, be sure to cheer on the Pirates at their game on Saturday, September 30thl That is the final fireworks night of 2023.

Night Markets

Taking a stroll through Market Square during the Night Markets is something we've enjoyed all summer. Luckily, these aren't ending just yet! You can explore the Night Markets until October 28th. Discover candles, furniture, clothes, food, drinks and so much more. Our sister store, love, is nearby, so be sure to visit while you're down there!

We'll be soaking in the last days of summer watching the summer sunsets fade away... while welcoming all things fall ;)
