Hanging with Dad

Hanging with Dad

This Father's Day we have paired fun Dad's Day outings with cute gift items. Check out some of our ideas below.

The Big Screen

See a movie with your dad at a swanky theater with leather lounge chairs and beers optional. The newest Jurassic World movie just came out and what dad doesn't enjoy a action packed show!? Pair the movie tickets with a zany Alternate Histories 8bit Monster Glass, or a B movie style poster with Yinzilla attacking a Pittsburgh bridge. Alternate Histories has some awesome dad-worthy affair.

Pints and Brews

Take your dad to a local brewery like Grist House, Mindful, Cinderlands, or Hitchhiker to name a few. Pittsburgh has so many wonderful and local breweries to tap into! If your dad prefers harder stuff, there are some really good distillery options in town too, such as Wigle and Kingfly Spirits.

For the dad that loves to chill with a bevvy in hand, we have etched Rivers Stripe Rocks Glasses and Rivers Stripe Pint Glasses that are choice for holding a nightcap.

Take Dad Out to the Ballgame

Take in the city sights at PNC Park while watching the Pirates WIN! Yes WIN!! Hopefully :P Even if you and your pops aren't total baseball fans, you cannot beat the view at PNC Park. A fun hang regardless of the game. Watch the pierogis race around the field for the 7th inning stretch and get some peanuts and Cracker Jacks!

Our Ballpark Candle and Mini Pierogi Race Print make a precious little gift for you and your dad to remember the joy of hanging out that day!

Concerts and Ice Cream

Take in a Concert in the park with your rad dad at Hartwood Acres or South Park this weekend. Check out their Summer Concert Series here.

Don't forget the ice cream! Grab some Leona's Ice Cream Sandwiches to take with you. We even have a new handmade cooler to keep those sandwiches cold on the go from PackPack. They are available exclusively at our Strip District location!

Have a great weekend with your dads and father figures!
