Buzzing with Caffeine

Buzzing with Caffeine

What is better than the first sip of a coffee or tea from a local coffee shop? Honestly, not much. We carry 4 local coffee brands in our shops so that our customers always have the option to have freshly brewed coffee in the comfort of their own homes. To show our appreciation, we want to shout out our coffee makers in hopes that you will support local and stop in for a cup of joe.

Black Forge Coffee

Located in Allentown and McKees Rocks, Black Forge offers a relaxing atmosphere and instills a space for creativity, art, and music. To insure fresh and high quality, Black Forge roasts small, 10 pound batches right in McKees Rocks.

Black Forge is hitting the road in 2021 in their coffee van! They will be traveling across the US, following all COIVD guidelines, and offering a pop up coffee bar at small businesses, music venues, and art shows. Keep an eye on their website for updates regarding their road trip itinerary.

I&I Coffee

Located right in the neighborhood of Mt. Washington, I&I Coffee is close to home for us. Maker, Patrick S. Zulick, roasts small batches of coffee right in his home. He needed a side-hustle and his love for coffee led him to begin roasting beans. All information regarding I&I Coffee can be found in our blog post: Maker We Love: I&I Coffee.

Commonplace Coffee

With seven coffee shop locations, Commonplace Coffee offers its visitors great coffee alongside a welcoming spot to unwind.

Founders Julie and TJ Fairfield love the 'coffee shop culture' and their shops reflect this. All Commonplace Coffee locations create a sense of community. Julie and TJ love producing great coffee and serving it to even better people, although some locations are temporarily closed, most are still open for to-go orders! Check out their website for more information.

Curly Tail Coffee

This unique coffee maker combines her love for caffeine with her love for animals. Established in 2015, Curly Tail Coffee began selling on Etsy and Facebook and recently grew into a mobile coffee camper. CTC's vast customer base has allowed for $30,000 to be donated to animal rescue.
