A Toast to Pittsburgh

A Toast to Pittsburgh

As the year comes to a close and as we reflect on it, we are grateful for how special it is to live in Pittsburgh.

Our store name - love, Pittsburgh - is the idea of a love note from the city. So, here we are writing a love note to the best tahn ever.

Read on for our all-time favorite things about Pittsburgh.

A Toast to Pittsburgh

Dear Pittsburgh,

We really do love you. The beautiful city of bridges. Here are 5 of our favorite things about you.

The Landscape

One of the things we often hear from visitors from out of town is, "Wow! I didn't realize Pittsburgh was so green!"

It’s true—we’re incredibly lucky to have so many wonderful parks and tree-lined walking paths.

The three rivers are equally spectacular, offering countless riverfront trails and opportunities to enjoy them.

And we absolutely love Pittsburgh’s hills! After all, without them, we wouldn’t have the stunning views from Mount Washington.

Festivals and Events

Pittsburghers know how to have fun, and we show up in full force for our most notable events.

Summer kicks off with the Three Rivers Arts Festival, where we shop for artist-made goods and enjoy live music.

We satisfy our craving for all things dill at the nation’s best food festival, Picklesburgh.

We’re eager to raise a stein at Market Square’s newest event, Oktoberfest.

And the Holiday Market fills us with festive cheer as we feel like little elves in our cozy chalets!

Architecture

While driving through Downtown, it’s hard not to catch yourself gazing up at the buildings while waiting at a red light.

Food and Drinks

There is no shortage of delicious places to eat within the city. Sometimes we find it tricky to decide where we're going to brunch next!

The Artists and Makers

We can’t wrap up our love letter to this city without celebrating the incredible creative minds that call it home. We’re beyond fortunate to have a community of talented artists and makers who fill our shops with their passion, creativity, and so much local love.

love,

Pittsburgh Devotees
