Fånga Sfären (Capture the Sphere) Print

Fånga sfären in Swedish translates to Capture the Sphere. A delicate balance between heaviness and lightness.

The “Sfären” series of prints is inspired by Swedish minimalist design and Japanese woodcut printmaking.

Each print is designed through the meditative process of carving away the surface to make marks and open space. The image has dictated itself through it’s making. The intent of the Sfären series is to create calm and focus through balance and form.

This is an open edition linoleum print that has been hand carved and printed on thin Japanese rice paper. Each is titled and signed by Camp Copeland.
