Pick Of The Patch

Pick Of The Patch

As the fall season comes in full swing many are looking to visit their local pumpkin patches. Whether you're picking out the perfect pumpkin, enjoying the other fall activities or digging into some of those yummy fall treats we have you covered on our favorite local pumpkin patches!

Soergel Orchards

First up is a local favorite, Soergel Orchards.  At this pumpkin patch and apple orchard visitors are free to roam the rows of pumpkins as well as pick apples throughout their orchard.  After guests find their perfect pumpkin they are welcome to stop in to the market to pick up apple cider doughnuts and seasonal pies!

Simmons Farms

Next, Simmons Farm is the perfect pumpkin patch for any family outing!  Visitors have access to the pumpkin patch as well as a hay maze, corn hole, corn maze, slides and a visit with some friendly farm animals.  Aside from their lovely fall setup check them out in the spring/summer to see their beautiful wildflower fields!

Schramm Farms and Orchard

Last but not least is one of my personal favorites!  Schramm Farms holds a special place in my heart not only because I grew up running through their pumpkin patch but because I was able to work their for six years!  Aside from their pumpkin patch visitors can also experience a group tours, hayrides, corn mazes, corn box, and yummy concession food.  Inside the market you can find a range of apples and other fresh produce as well as caramel apples, apple cider slushies and a wine cellar.   Attached next door is a bakery where visitors can find more delicious treats!

We hope you have a fun fall season and find your perfect pumpkin!  Feel free to tag us in any of your fall adventures! @lovepittsburghshop
